This Celtic-influenced music is a perennial favorite with memorable melodies woven from the music of many cultures, performed by David Michael on harp and Randy Mead on modern and native flutes, with guest artists playing a sprinkling of other instruments such as violin, hammer dulcimer, concertina, pennywhistle and more. The title cut was born of an improvisation during a ferry crossing from Port Townsend to Keystone (Whidbey Island) where David Michael gave regular impromptu concerts for 17 years on Celtic harp. The tunes on this recording will be familiar to the tens of thousands of ferryboat riders who listened to David’s onboard concerts between 1990-2007. The romantic tune Norwegian Nights was used by the soap General Hospital for a Valentine’s Day episode.
